What is a Creative Blitz?

Each course has 1 or more Creative Blitzes. A Creative Blitz is a project that gives you the chance to pull together all your new-found skills and your talent and imagination to create something awesome for you portfolio!

2D Animation Creative Blitzes

Here are the Creative Blitzes you’ll complete during your first year in 2D Animation…

Course 01 — Visual Illustration Tools Creative Blitz Projects

Your client is a Pixar Executive (your instructor!). Pixar is going to introduce a new superhero in the upcoming Incredibles sequel. You get to first channel your inner Edna Mode (ha!) and design the logo that will be on the chest of the new character and then create a poster that promotes the new movie and new character!

Course 02 — Digital Animation Creative Blitz Project

2 Options to Choose From:

Animated Digital Children’s Story. Inspire children using a selection from an award-winning children’s book. Your project should inspire children to overcome modern obstacles kids relate to, and come out better.
INCREDIBLES 3 adventure movie trailer. Create an animated movie trailer for a sequel to INCREDIBLES featuring the new Superhero character you developed. Entertaining and informational with release date, new character, and new character’s superpower.
