Lessons 3 and 6 from the Illustrator Book

• Get a copy of the Adobe Illustrator Classroom In a Book (CIB).

Note: We have these books in the shelves in our classroom.

• Download the exercise files for this textbook here: Download Illustrator Files Put these files into your own Google Drive. The instructions will have you save a working copy of the files that you work on. SAVE OFTEN! You will have to show your instructor these files for weekly grading credit. Can’t grade air! 🙂

NOTE: At the beginning of every chapter the book tells you to delete your preferences. SKIP these steps and DO NOT delete your preferences.

• Complete Illustrator CIB Lessons 3 (2 hr) and 6 (3 hr) using the exercise files. Don’t use your tablet unless instructed to do so in the lessons because you need to understand how to use the mouse also. We will have plenty of cool stuff to do with the tablets, don’t worry! 😉
• Save your files to your Google Drive. Take screenshots of your work (1 per lesson at the end of the lesson) to upload to Behance.
• Go to Behance.net and upload your screenshots to your Course 1- Visual Illustration Tools portfolio.
